The Philippines government has introduced strengthened regulations for the marketing of baby foods, after reports that baby food companies were offering financial incentives for health workers if families were converted to use breastmilk substitutes. The new regulations are the culmination of years of campaigning by the International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN).
