A number of details were incorrectly reported in the item about nursing and midwifery research in International Midwifery, March/April 2003, p20.
The correct title of the document described is: 'Nursing and midwifery research: summary review of policies, resources and support at strategic and operational levels'. The author is Margaret McGuire, Midwifery Development Officer, NHS Scotland and the Royal College of Midwives UK Board for Scotland, who carried out an international survey of support for nursing and midwifery research in 2002.
