In the last issue of International Midwifery (IM 15(6): 9) we announced the publication of the WHO World Report on Violence and Health. A summary of this is now available in seven languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

To further support its Global Campaign for Violence Prevention, WHO has also launched a new quarterly newsletter through which it will update campaign members and other interested parties on activities surrounding the campaign.
